Piano Restoration

Piano Restoration is the art of transforming older, worn-out traditional pianos to their former glory. We renew all the age-affected felts, leatherwork, springs, loops, centre-pins, wrestpins and strings etc., to enable the instrument to perform as well as when it originally left the factory.

The piano restoration will generally not take less than 3 months and probably not more than 5 months. BUT... we can lend you a working, tuned piano free of charge whilst your own is being restored.

Your piano is worth restoring if it is soundly built (preferably by a well known maker and made after 1890) or if you feel a particular attachment to the piano.

The cost will very much depend on the type, age and condition of the instrument, and we would need to see the piano in order to give you a quotation for the work. Please contact us on 020 7751 4106 for an informal chat and we will be happy to advise on the suitability of piano restoration.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
